Canned fish fry | Sardine | kukskitchen

Ever got home sick and got the cravings for your mum's fish fry from Kerala? You have come to the right place. This is the quickest (cheapest) fish fry  you will ever have. Try it and thank me later. 

 A few things before we start: 

  • Keep cans of fish for emergencies
  •  I like to use sardine in brine, you can also get great results with Mackerel, Tuna and Salmon too.

Canned fish Fry
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 

 Ingredients: 
  • Canned sardine - 2 cans
  • Curry leaves - 5-6
  • Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 1/2 tsp
  • Salt (if using sardines in spring water)
 Method: 
 
Warm up the oil from the can and add curry leaves, chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and now fry the fish in that. Your quick fish fry is done. Enjoy with hot rice and yogurt x
