Thattikkuttu baked chicken: featuring Schwartz Italian seasoning

A quick fix is what I prefer on weekdays when I come home tired after work. Chicken is one versatile ingredient which comes around tasty quickly with much less effort. I have a few of these thattikkuttu (malayalam for whipping up something with no particular recipe or plan)

Here is how I made it

 Schwartz Italian seasoning

Ingredients
Chicken Drumsticks- 10 no’s
Ground pepper- 1/2 tsp
Parmesan Cheese, grated- 1/4 cup
Chilly powder  - 1/2 tsp
Italian herb seasoning - 1 1/2 tsp (I used Schwartz)
Onion granules -  1/2 tsp
Garlic granules - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste 
Oil to baste with




Preparation

Rub each drumstick with the above ingredients. Smear some oil using a basting brush.

- Bake  at 200 degree celsius for a total of 30 minutes or until drumsticks turn golden brown in color

- After the initial 15 minutes of baking, turn over the drumsticks and smear some more oil on it using a basting brush

- Remove from the oven and serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or salad on the side.

My son luvs a chicken leg well done with a drizzle of honey each time. :-)
